What does "50 free assessments per year" actually mean?
Exactly what it says — you can run up to 50 candidate assessments per year at no cost, with full AI-Proctoring, custom domain whitelabel, and the complete candidate dossier. No credit card required to start. No time limit. Most teams use this to evaluate the platform with a real hiring cohort before deciding which paid tier fits their volume. When you cross 50 attempts, you upgrade to Starter.
What counts as one "assessment" credit?
One credit = one unique candidate completing or abandoning one assessment session, regardless of how many stages or modules are within that session. A multi-stage assessment (aptitude + coding + behavioral) bundled into one session counts as one credit, not three. A candidate who starts and abandons still consumes one credit. Retakes due to genuine technical failures (browser crash, network outage) are refunded to your credit balance — just submit a request to support.
What's the difference between Anti-Cheating, AI-Proctored, and Skolarli Integrity Browser (SIB)?
Three escalating levels of integrity. Anti-Cheating mode (Starter tier) is browser-level — tab switching detection, copy-paste blocking, fullscreen enforcement, devtools detection. Good for low-stakes assessments. AI-Proctoring (Growth tier) adds the full integrity stack — face match, liveness, voice detection, trust scoring, session video recording. The standard for hiring decisions. Skolarli Integrity Browser (Scale tier and above) adds OS-level integrity — blocks AI tools running in the background, screen capture utilities, process injection, and external displays. The only Indian platform with OS-level integrity. Use it for high-stakes certifications and senior-level hiring.
What happens if we exceed our annual credits?
Two options — upgrade to the next tier (usually better unit economics if you'll consistently exceed), or pay per-assessment overage at your tier's published rate (₹425 for Starter, ₹350 for Growth, ₹250 for Scale). Unused credits roll forward within your contract term — they don't expire annually. We notify you proactively before you hit the cap so there are no billing surprises.
What's the difference between Skolarli Learn and Skolarli Assess?
Skolarli Learn is built for ongoing employee L&D — programs, learning paths, multi-year performance records, audit trails, and unlimited assessments for your existing team. Skolarli Assess is built for hiring — candidate evaluations with AI Proctoring and the integrity stack, priced per credit. They're separate products with separate pricing because the buyer (L&D vs Hiring) and the use case (longitudinal employee tracking vs transactional candidate evaluation) are genuinely different. Skolarli Learn tiers (Growth and Max) bundle a hiring assessment allocation so you don't need both — most mid-market teams find the bundle covers their hiring volume.
Why does Skolarli Learn cost more than just buying Assess on its own?
Because it's a different product. Skolarli Learn includes the full LXP — multi-year employee records, audit trails, DPDP-compliant retention, unlimited employee assessments, multilingual translation, the full SkoAI suite, plus a bundled allocation of hiring assessments. The à la carte equivalent — a separate LXP, a separate hiring assessment platform, a separate AI translation tool, and the AI usage on top — typically runs ₹10L+ from three vendors. Skolarli Learn delivers it as one platform from one team.
What does "fair-use" mean for SkoAI tokens?
Each Skolarli Learn tier includes generous AI usage calibrated to typical L&D patterns — for most customers, SkoAI Coach is "always on" without thinking about limits. If your team uses AI very heavily (e.g., translating large content libraries, running constant Coach queries during peak training periods), we'll proactively reach out about an AI pack add-on before you hit any cap. We don't surprise-bill on AI usage — the conversation happens transparently, in advance.
What's included in the bundled hiring assessments?
Each Skolarli Learn tier includes a hiring assessment allocation — 25 in Lite, 200 in Growth, 500 in Max. These run with full AI Proctoring (and SIB on Growth and Max) on candidate-facing assessments. If you exceed your bundled allocation, you can either pay per-attempt overage at standard Assess rates, or buy a top-up pack. For most mid-market hiring volumes, the Growth or Max bundle is more than enough.
How is Skolarli Kreator different from Skolarli Learn?
Kreator is built for independent course creators selling to their own audience — embeddable JS, custom domain, Razorpay/UPI for individual transactions, no enterprise overhead. Learn is built for corporate L&D teams managing their workforce — multi-year retention, audit trails, SSO, DPDP-grade compliance. Same platform underneath, different wrappers for different buyers. You can graduate from Kreator to Learn if your business shifts from selling courses to managing corporate training — your data and content come with you.
Is whitelabel really included on every plan?
Yes. Custom domain (assess.yourcompany.com or learn.yourcompany.com), your logo, your brand colors, zero Skolarli mentions on user-facing pages — included on every paid tier and the free tier. Setup takes about 5 minutes via the Decision Engine app on the marketplace. Cloudflare for SaaS handles SSL automatically. Most platforms charge for whitelabel as an enterprise add-on. We ship it as default because your candidates and learners should see your brand, not ours.
Do you have separate pricing for universities or recruitment agencies?
Yes. Universities get educational discounts plus SIB included for high-stakes exams, multi-campus deployments, and academic-cycle billing terms. Recruitment agencies get volume-tier candidate pricing, multi-client workspace support, whitelabel per client engagement, and a dedicated account manager. Can we negotiate pricing?
Honestly — yes, especially for multi-year contracts, larger volumes, or when you commit to becoming a reference customer. Published prices reflect annual list rates with reasonable room for procurement conversations. We don't pretend otherwise. What we won't do is start pricing high and pretend a "discount" is a favor — the published number is the genuine starting point, and discounts are tied to real commitments (multi-year, larger team size, reference rights). What are the payment terms? Annual or monthly?
Published prices are annual subscriptions. Quarterly billing is available for Enterprise contracts. We accept payments via Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets) for Indian customers and PayPal for international customers. Invoicing terms (NET 30/60) are available for Enterprise. Multi-year contracts are eligible for additional discounts beyond the standard list rates.
Can we cancel? Are there refunds?
You can cancel anytime — your account stays active for the remainder of the period you've paid for. Refunds for annual plans are pro-rated to the remaining unused full calendar months (not the month of cancellation). Detailed refund and cancellation terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
